Who We Are

Drive high-stakes financial strategy as a Financial Analyst on Wayfair’s dynamic Strategic Finance team. In this pivotal role, you will untangle complex business challenges and leverage data to guide multi-million dollar investment decisions across our global business segments. By serving as a trusted strategic advisor to key executive leaders, you'll directly shape sustainable growth while balancing profitability, innovation, and long-term organizational value.

What You’ll Do

• Build and refine robust financial models to evaluate strategic business opportunities and directly inform executive decision-making.
• Execute ad-hoc analytical deep-dives in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders to solve complex, high-impact business problems.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze performance variances over time, and collaborate with senior leaders to execute actionable business improvements.
• Automate dynamic dashboards and monthly reporting packages using Looker and Google DataStudio to streamline forecasting and historical reporting for leadership.
• Drive full end-to-end project ownership in a fast-paced environment while actively leveraging continuous feedback and mentorship to sharpen your technical skillset.
• Leverage AI to write SQL code to rapidly iterate through analytical insights and reporting optimizations

What You’ll Need

Basic Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors in Finance, Economics, Business or Analytics, with the expectation that degree will be obtained between Winter 2027 and Spring 2029
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the Co-op
• Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from January 4 to June 18, 2027 in our Boston office
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future. Visa sponsorship includes the following work visas: STEM OPT EAD, H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, J-1, or TN.
• Experience working with large and/or complex data to drive actionable insights in at least 1 of the following (a) Excel or Google Sheets and (b) SQL, GBQ, or an equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

* Interest in a Finance role that is strategy focused * Ability to work in an environment that requires being a self starter and team player * Ability to simplify complex data, identify core themes, and provide actionable solutions (e.g., critical thinking & problem solving skills) * Detail oriented and enjoys tackling new challenges * Ability to effectively communicate both to leadership within the Finance team and stakeholder teams * Strong comfort level and appetite to use AI in daily workflow

Possible Team Placements Include

Our Strategic Finance teams are split between five core functions: (1) Commercial Finance, which handles revenue forecasting and optimization; (2) Operations Finance, which handles cost forecasting and cost optimization; (3) FP&A, which performs core financial planning and margin management activities; (4) Investor Relations & Treasury, which manages our cash balances and shapes Wayfair’s performance narrative with investors; and (5) Finance Transformation, which handles AI deployments and capability delivery within Finance.Why You’ll Love Wayfair:
