*This is a Boston based opportunity with a 4 day in office expectation (Monday - Thursday) with 1 day remote (Friday).*

Who We Are
Drive the strategic growth of Wayfair's dynamic Commercial team as a Commercial Analyst, where your insights will directly shape how millions of customers design their homes. What You’ll Do
- Analyze and model large, complex datasets using SQL, Python, R, or advanced Excel techniques to surface actionable business trends and uncover growth opportunities.
- Drive end-to-end strategy execution by leading high-impact initiatives across pricing, marketing, and product selection to directly enhance profitability and competitive position.
- Build and own intuitive performance dashboards and real-time tracking systems to optimize daily operations and establish measurable KPIs across teams.
- Leverage analytical insights to partner directly with suppliers, guiding selection strategy and negotiating key improvements to elevate the end-to-end customer experience.
- Design, deploy, and evaluate rigorous A/B tests and quantitative models to solve ambiguous business challenges and validate long-term roadmap decisions.
- Communicate technical findings through clear visualizations and persuasive presentations to align cross-functional stakeholders and steer leadership decision-making.
What You’ll Need
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors in a relevant discipline (e.g. Marketing, Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics), with the expectation that degree will be obtained between Winter 2027 and Spring 2029
- 3.0 GPA minimum
- Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the Co-op
- Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from January 4 to June 18, 2027 in our Boston office
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future. Visa sponsorship includes the following work visas: STEM OPT EAD, H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, J-1, or TN.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and SQL or Google Big Query

* Strong consultative skills: ability to work effectively and persuasively with a highly cross- functional group of business partners * Strong business acumen: ability to understand how various parts of the business interact; can identify and approach problems from a customer or supplier perspective * Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills: excited about working with and synthesizing big data into actionable insights; comfortable using data software to conduct analyses and synthesize findings * Exceptional problem-solving and execution skills: ability to make decisions, reprioritize tasks, and draw conclusions in the face of ambiguity * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Familiarity with any programming language is a plus, including motivation to learn and develop the skill-set * Strong comfort level and appetite to use AI in daily workflow

: Lead high-yield acquisition and brand strategies across Wayfair’s largest digital and offline advertising channels to drive profitable customer growth. On a daily basis, you’ll analyze channel performance metrics, optimize multi-million dollar campaign spends using predictive data models, and present cross-functional growth strategies to senior leaders. It’s an immersive, high-stakes role where your data-driven adjustments directly scale Wayfair's reach across global markets. Profit Management: Directly influence Wayfair’s top and bottom lines by owning dynamic pricing strategies and margin performance across all global brands. Your average day involves auditing dynamic pricing models, analyzing price elasticity across millions of SKUs, and stress-testing profitability scenarios to balance market competitiveness with gross margin targets. You’ll tackle complex financial trade-offs in real time, making a direct and immediate impact on organizational revenue. Business Trends: Serve as a strategic advisor to senior executives by tracking, diagnosing, and acting on key performance metrics that govern long-term Customer Lifetime Value (CLV). Day-to-day, you’ll query cross-channel datasets, isolate macro and micro trend anomalies, and deliver clear, rapid-response root-cause analyses directly to business leads. This role puts you at the absolute center of corporate decision-making, where your diagnostic work guides high-level operational pivots. B2B & Global Sales: Engine for growth within Wayfair Professional, driving strategies to capture market share across commercial and B2B customer segments. On any given day, you will evaluate sales pipeline health, model custom pricing incentives for high-value accounts, and build tools that empower account managers to optimize client engagement. You’ll tackle unique B2B buyer journeys, building data foundations that turn high-volume business prospects into lifelong clients. Curation, Brands, & Stores Analytics: Empower visual merchandising and curation teams with advanced analytics to ensure the right products appear in front of the right customers. Each day, you’ll dive into customer search and browsing behaviors, build intuitive performance dashboards, and run item-level placement analyses across digital platforms and physical store footprints. Your insights ensure every brand collection tells a cohesive story that maximizes customer conversion. Physical Retail: Shape the future of Wayfair’s omnichannel presence by building the operational and analytical framework for our expanding footprint of physical stores. Your daily routine includes evaluating store-level inventory velocity, analyzing foot-traffic behavior patterns, and synthesizing in-store shopping data with digital metrics to optimize the physical retail journey. You will tackle the unique, highly strategic challenge of bridging brick-and-mortar experiences with our digital ecosystem. Catalog Merchandising Analytics: Optimize the entry, discovery, and presentation of millions of products to build the most intuitive home catalog in e-commerce. On a daily basis, you will run diagnostic queries on supplier data pipelines, design A/B testing frameworks for product page layouts, and refine discovery algorithms that help customers find precisely what they need. Wayfair’s In-Office Policy
All Boston-based corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and work remotely the other 1 day of the week.
