Our designers help clients with low to moderate budgets throughout NY, NJ, CT, and Washington, DC.

We work with vendors like IKEA, Target, Crate and Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, Overstock, Room and Board, etc.

About the Role

This role is a hybrid contract role. The social media intern must be located in Fairfield County, CT, and able to travel to our Wilton office and recording locations within Fairfield County.

They will work closely with our Founder and CEO, Betsy Helmuth.

Responsibilities

• Planning and shooting photo and video content
• Spotting and implementing the latest TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube trends
• Brainstorming and researching ideas for original content
• Editing short videos and photos
• Coming up with fun, creative ideas
• Keeping the brand message consistent
• Tracking social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
• Creating weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites
• Performing social media marketing research
• Writing social media captions and tags that speak to the company’s target audience

Requirements

• Intermediate understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) from a brand perspective
• At least 1 year of experience in content management and creation
• Basic copywriting skills
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
• Expert in multiple social media platforms
• An interest in interior design
• Currently pursuing a college degree or possessing relevant, post-high school work experience
• Note: This internship is not open to current high school students.

5–10 hrs/week

$20–$25/hour (based on experience)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 10.0 per week
