Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant Intern will provide valuable support to our team by assisting with daily administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, and contributing to the smooth operation of our organization. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop professional skills while working in a fast-paced, culturally rich media environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing appointments.
- Support the preparation and distribution of correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Help maintain and organize office files, records, and databases.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and team activities.
- Perform basic data entry and assist with document management.
- Monitor and replenish office supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree or recently graduated in business administration, communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- A proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for African culture, media, and storytelling is a strong plus.
